	Hours: The museum is now open Thursday from 10am till 6pm, and Saturday from 10am till 2 pm.
	Admission: Admission is free of charge for children and on a voluntary donation basis for adults.

The Zeeland Historical Society founded the museum in 1976 in an adjoining house and store formerly owned by Dirk Dekker. The house was restored to its original 1876 style, and new artifacts are continuously being added to the collection. Items have been recently received from as far away as Borssele in the Province of Zeeland in the Netherlands.

The Zeeland Historical Society was formed in 1974 by a group of 25 people interested in preserving local history. Membership has grown to over 300 from all over the United States.
